The vibration of the washing machine is quite common, especially during the spin phase. In the end, her drum spins up to several hundred revolutions. Where are the vibrations coming from?
Most of the washing machine is occupied by a moving element – the drum. It is he who becomes the main and only source of vibrations. Most often, users notice them in high-speed modes of operation. Engineers have foreseen such a phenomenon. That is why in the design of the washing machine there are special counterweights – on top or around the perimeter of the drum. Paired with several shock absorbers, they almost completely absorb vibrations.

Destruction of counterweights

If the counterweight has cracks or is not fixed due to damaged fasteners, a replacement is needed. Even small breaks will lead to imbalance. Tachogenerator failure
This node transmits engine speed data to the control unit. The latter, in turn, regulates the operation of the washing machine. If the tachogenerator is faulty, then two situations are possible. The drum either does not spin up or runs at extremely high speeds. The latter case can just cause strong vibrations (and even bouncing).

You can install new shock absorbers yourself (well, if you have an assistant). The tank can be fixed with transport bolts, turn the machine over and change the elements from the bottom side.
