THE DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER OF QATAR IS VISITING PAKISTAN TODAY

ISLAMABAD: Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani is visiting Pakistan today.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will hold talks with him, which will focus on progress in Afghanistan and Pakistan-Qatar relations.

During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar will also hold meetings with other dignitaries. In a statement, Foreign Office spokesman Asim Iftikhar Ahmed said that Pakistan and Qatar have cordial and cordial relations based on faith and tradition.

He said that the two countries work closely on regional and global issues of common interest. There are more than 200,000 working Pakistanis in Qatar who are contributing to the national and economic development of both the countries.
