Sri Lanka Has No Interest In Hosting Pakistan

Lahore: Sri Lanka has expressed no interest in hosting Pakistan “A” team.

The PCB had decided to send a squad of emerging cricketers to Sri Lanka in June to prepare for future challenges, rescheduling three ODIs and two four-day matches in July after the series was postponed due to Corona. Was being planned but the Indian team’s tour of Sri Lanka was blocked.

A Sri Lankan board official said that the Indian team is coming to play 3 ODIs and as many T20 Internationals. In the current situation in Corona, hosting two teams at the same time would be an unwise and unsafe move.
Another official said that due to Coronavirus, the lockdown has been imposed in the country and various restrictions have been imposed. In this situation, I have doubts about the Pakistan A team’s tour. Will be given the green signal for the series, on the other hand, the Lincoln Premier League is being prepared from July 30 to August 22.

According to sources, the ODI and T20 series against India will be completed from July 13 to 25, after which the LPL will start, so the series will be postponed from Pakistan A team and new dates will be considered.
