Proposal to start ferry service between Oman and Gwadar

The Prime Minister of Pakistan has been suggested to start ferry service between Oman and Gwadar.

Engineer Radha Al-Saleh, Head of Oman’s High Level Business Delegation and Chairman of Oman Chamber, while talking to ‘Express’ on the occasion of his visit to Wagah Border, said that we have visited Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore during our visit to Pakistan. ۔

He said that meetings were held with the Pakistani government and private sector to promote bilateral trade, Pakistanis are returning with wonderful hospitality and beautiful memories. Oman is one of the few countries that signed a free trade agreement with the United States. Yes, Pakistani traders can also benefit from this, Pakistani products can be re-exported from Oman to USA.
The head of the delegation added that access to Saudi Arabia and other countries through Oman is relatively easy and less time consuming, Oman for Pakistan to the Gulf, Africa and other regional markets while Pakistan for Oman to Central Asia, China and Gateway to access other markets. He said that Oman was keenly interested in the development of Gwadar.
