KARACHI: Legendary Pakistani comedian and senior actor Omar Sharif and his family have been issued US visas.
Special Assistant Dr. Shahbaz Gul has said that Omar Sharif and his family have got US visa issue. Omar Sharif will soon leave for America for his treatment.
Shahbaz Gul further said that the family of Omar Sharif thanked the Prime Minister of Pakistan for his cooperation in all these processes and the Prime Minister prayed that Allah Almighty heals Omar Sharif soon.

It should be noted that Omar Sharif, who is suffering from heart disease, is in a very bad condition. A few days ago, in a video message, he had requested the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to help him for treatment abroad as his treatment is not possible in Pakistan but abroad.
In addition, Omar Sharif’s wife Zarin Omar had requested the government to make arrangements for air ambulance and visa etc. for the treatment of her husband so that Omar Sharif could be taken abroad for treatment.

At the request of Omar Sharif, the federal and Sindh governments took immediate action and announced the release of funds for his treatment and a formal order was issued by the finance department for the release of the funds.
Houthi rebels drone strike on Saudi airport
Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s air defense system thwarted a drone strike by Houthi rebels at Abha airport.
According to the international news agency, the Houthi rebels of Yemen once again tried to attack the Abha airport of Saudi Arabia with an explosive-laden drone, to which the defense system of the Saudi air force responded immediately and defused the drone in the air. ۔
According to a statement issued by the Arab Coalition Forces, the Houthi rebels tried to target Abha airport with drones in which no casualties were reported but the defense forces will continue to take measures to protect the lives and property of the civilians.
It should be noted that Houthi rebels have made several attempts to target Abha airport in Saudi Arabia. Earlier, on February 10, a civilian plane was set on fire at Abha airport in an attack. There were also two attacks in November last year.
