Mysterious Fire Broke

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Flames rising from the middle of Mexico’s ocean surprised everyone, and the video went viral as soon as they saw it.

According to the International News Agency, a sudden fire broke out in the sea in the Yucatan region of Mexico. Flames were seen rising from the middle of the sea when there was no ship or anything in which a fire could be suspected.

When the videos went viral on social media, many users claimed that there would be a volcano in the ocean, which caused flames to erupt. However, there was no evidence of a volcanic eruption at sea level, so the fire remained a mystery ۔

However, oil company Pemax has now claimed that the fire in the Mexican Sea was caused by a leak in an underwater gas pipeline. The gas pipeline fuels the oil platform, which comes from Komalob Zap.

A statement issued by the company said that the fire was brought under control by the fire brigade personnel within five hours and no loss of life or property was reported during the fire and the company’s production was not affected.

This is not the first time that a fire has broken out in the facilities of the oil company Pemax. There has been a similar fire on the coast before but fortunately no casualties were reported in this incident.
