Nagorno-Karabakh: The Armenian army has accused the Azerbaijani army of killing three of its soldiers and wounding two others.
Clashes continue between Azerbaijan and Armenia after a deadly battle for control of the disputed territory, according to the International News Agency. Three Armenian soldiers were killed and two Azerbaijani soldiers were wounded in the latest clash.
The two countries have accused each other of inciting provocation and firing in the latest clash.
A statement issued by Armenia said that while violating the border of a village in Stockholm, the Azerbaijani army advanced and opened fire, killing 3 of our soldiers and injuring 2.
On the other hand, a statement issued by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said that the Armenian army fired indiscriminately at our territory in the Kalbajar district, injuring two soldiers. Adherence to our ceasefire should not be seen as a weakness.
Last year, a six-week battle for control of the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region ended with the surrender of Armenia under an agreement reached in November due to Russian intervention.
