Mumbai: Actress Kangana Ranaut is facing another challenge in the court. Indian writer Ashish Cole has filed a contempt of court petition against the actress.
Adnan Sheikh and Yogita Joshi, lawyers of Ashish Cole, author of the book ‘Dida: The Warrior Queen of Kashmir’, have filed a contempt of court petition against Kangana Ranaut in the Mumbai High Court, according to a Bollywood commotion.
According to the author’s lawyers, in a letter and correspondence with the well-known Indian poet Javed Akhtar, it has come to light that forgery has been revealed in the passport renewal case of Kangana Ranaut, which is a major crime.
He said that he considered it his responsibility to bring the matter to the notice of the High Court and therefore the petition has been submitted.
Keep in mind that Kangana Ranaut is also facing a defamation case against her. On July 27, the Mumbai Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court heard a defamation suit against the actress where she could not appear before the court. The court has given Kangana Ranaut a deadline to appear before the court, otherwise, a bailable warrant will be issued against him.
