Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has denied an immediate hearing on the passport renewal of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
According to Indian media, actress Kangana Ranaut had recently approached the Bombay High Court to renew her passport, which expires in September this year. In her application, Kangana Ranaut had claimed that the administration had refused to renew her passport in the Bandra police station, objecting to the FIR in the case of the controversial tweet.
At Kangana’s request, the court had fixed June 25 for a hearing of the case. But actress Kangana Ranaut had asked the court to expedite the hearing of the case as she needs to travel for the shooting of her upcoming film.
