BOGOTA: A helicopter carrying President Duke and the defense minister has been shot down in Colombia, but fortunately everyone is safe.
According to the International News Agency, in Colombia, a helicopter carrying key officials, including the president, defense minister and interior minister, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen as it was taking off from the capital.
A spokesman for the Duke’s presidency told the media that the bullets hit the main blade of the helicopter. Fortunately, no one was injured in the shooting. The helicopter was carrying Defense Minister Diego Molano, Interior Minister Daniel Palacios, and Norte de Santander Silvano Sarano.
Explaining the details of the incident, President Duke said that the amazing security features of the helicopter kept it safe from this deadly attack. It was a cowardly attack. The attackers will not be released.
It should be noted that a crackdown on drug trafficking, terrorism and organized crime is underway in Colombia on the orders of President Duke, during which attacks on security forces and attacks on the President’s helicopter have also been called an operation by drug dealers.
