Ashes: England manage to draw fourth Test after consecutive defeats

The fourth Test match of the Ashes series between Australia and England was drawn after a thrilling contest.

In the Test match played in Sydney, the host team was given a target of 388 runs by Australia in response to which England scored 270 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the fourth innings of the match.

England have already lost the five-match series 0-3, but managed to save the fourth Test after an interesting contest till the last ball.
Australia declared 416 for 8 in the first innings and 265 for 6 in the second innings.
England scored 294 in the first innings and 270 for 9 in the second innings.

Usman Khawaja from Australia strengthened his team’s position by scoring centuries in both innings of the match. At the end of the match, Usman Khawaja was also given the award for the best player of the match.

The final Test match of the series between the two teams will be played in Hobart from January 14 to 18.
