Need a new smartphone, but don’t want to spend all your salary on it? Is it possible so that a little money, but not a “shovel”, but quite a modern model with NFC, fashionable cameras and a beautiful body with overflows? Can! In this collection – seven of the best budget smartphones.
6.39 “HUAWEI P40 Lite E 64GB Black Smartphone
When you want inexpensive, but cool, of course, first of all, they look towards the legendary “Chinese”. Huawei P40 Lite E – the youngest of the P40 line, presented in 2020. Buyers love this model for its novelty and, as always, the features that are ahead of the cost. Under the luscious holographic body we have an eight-core HiSilicon Kirin 710F processor and 4GB of RAM. The budget employee does not have a lot of built-in memory – only 64 GB, but of the two SIM card slots, one can be used for an SD card up to 512 GB.
As usual, Huawei wins over with cameras and a gorgeous display. An excellent IPS-matrix with a resolution of 1560×720 pixels gives a clear picture. And for cool shots, there are three rear cameras at once: 48, 8 and 2 megapixels – the main lens, a wide-angle lens and a lens for measuring the depth of field. And, of course, artificial intelligence to boot, which selects the optimal shooting modes depending on the subject. The 8 megapixel front camera is on guard for gorgeous selfies.
6.21 “Honor 20E 64GB Smartphone Black 13 999 *
Huawei’s second close partner is of course Honor. And it is he who continues the selection. Here we have again a holographic case with rounded edges and a bezel-less design. The arsenal includes a triple camera with a main lens of 24 megapixels, wide-angle shooting with a range of 120 degrees and artificial intelligence designed for more than 500 scenarios.
Under the cover is the same eight-core HiSilicon Kirin 710F as the previous model, and 4 GB of RAM. The Mali-G51 graphics accelerator works on fast loading of heavy games and multitasking mode. There is a face scanner and a fingerprint scanner, which, however, is not on the screen itself, but on the back of the case. The previous model, however, is exactly the same.
6.3 “Smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 64 GB blue 13 999 *
Another confident leader among high-quality and budget smartphones is Xiaomi. And Redmi Note 8 has something to brag about. For example, a large and juicy display with an IPS matrix and a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels with a density of as much as 409 ppi. On such a screen, flipping through photos and watching a movie is pleasant.
A glass case is a chic feature for someone, for others it is slippery and inconvenient. Advantage or disadvantage – decide for yourself, but the showiness of Redmi Note 8 is definitely not to be taken away. Under the cover is an eight-core Snapdragon 665, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory.
There are already four rear cameras with a 48 megapixel main module. In addition to the classic three, a 2 megapixel macro lens has been added – modestly, but there. Rear camera of 13 megapixels. There is a face scanner, a fingerprint scanner (on the back of the case) and two slots for SIM cards or memory cards.
6.4 “Smartphone Samsung Galaxy M11 32GB Black 11 999 *
Samsung bursts into the leader’s parade. Once upon a time, Samsung was poorly associated with powerful, but budget smartphones, invariably losing out to Chinese brands in this segment. But the young 2020 Galaxy M11 is extremely ambitious. There is an eight-core Snapdragon 450, 3 GB of RAM, and an excellent – and most importantly large – display with 1560×720 pixels. There is no doubt about the quality of the picture – this is the strong point of all Samsung smartphones. Only 32 GB of internal memory is upsetting – it is very small and it is difficult to do without an additional memory card.
The brand is confidently catching up with camera phones, filling this model with three camera modules with a 13 megapixel main lens. It seems to be 3.5 times less than previous models. But you need to remember that all 48 megapixels “Chinese” squeeze out only in special mode. On standard shooting, the modules of previous smartphones give out about 12 megapixels. Front camera Galaxy M11 – 8 MP. There is a face and fingerprint scanner. And also a very capacious 5000 mAh battery, with which you can watch videos for up to 20 hours on a single charge.
6.3 “Honor 9A 64GB Smartphone Black 9 999 *
But, whatever one may say, while Samsung has not been able to squeeze the popular popularity of Chinese brands. Honor 9A opens the top three. Very budget, but it has everything you need for a comfortable life.
The smartphone boasts a capacious 5,000mAh battery. Moreover, unlike Samsung, Honor convinces that this will be enough for as much as 32 hours of video watching or 64 hours of talking. The display is slightly smaller than the previous model, with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels with an IPS-matrix. Under the bright, iridescent cover is the eight-core MediaTek Helio P22 MT6762R processor. RAM 3 GB, built-in – 64 GB, a slot for a memory card is present.
The cameras, as usual, were generously poured: a main module of 13 megapixels, a wide-angle module of 5 megapixels and a depth-of-field lens. Front camera 8 megapixels. The smartphone has a face scanner and a fingerprint scanner on the back of the case.
6.53 “Xiaomi Redmi 9 Smartphone 32 GB gray 11 999 *
Two similar, but still different from each other Xiaomi models captured the first places of the selection. Redmi 9 slightly outperforms its younger brother Redmi 9 C and costs a little more. The 6.53 “display is equipped with an IPS-matrix with a resolution of 2340×1080 and a pixel density of 394 ppi. Under the cover there are eight cores of the MediaTek Helio G80 processor, 3 GB of RAM. The built-in memory is very small – only 32 GB, but you can put a memory card.
There are four rear cameras: 13 megapixel main module, 8 megapixel wide-angle, 2 megapixel depth sensor for portraits and 2 megapixel macro lens. The 5020 mAh battery promises up to 31 hours of talk time and up to 19 hours of video playback. There are face and fingerprint scanners.
6.53 “Xiaomi Redmi 9C Smartphone NFC 64 GB gray 10 999 *
Unlike the Redmi 9, the 9C winner has a slightly lower screen performance. With a similar display size, there is a resolution of 1600×720 with a dot density of 269 ppi. Inside there is an eight-core processor, but not Helio G80, but Helio G35. The same amount of RAM, but the built-in memory is twice as much – 64 GB.
There are only two rear cameras: the main module is 13 megapixels and the depth of field is 2 megapixels. Modestly, but there is also artificial intelligence with scene recognition. The front camera is also slightly weaker – 5 megapixels versus 8. Another nuance that may be important – the previous model works on the modern USB Type-C interface, and this one – on the good old micro USB. But, on the other hand, the cost is the lowest among all competitors.
